This is what lands in your inbox after the show
Every section below is built from real sensor data collected at a Las Vegas retail trade show in August 2026, anonymized for the exhibitor. Your report carries your numbers in exactly this shape — the document you forward to whoever signs next year’s booth budget.
Your booth drew 6,043 tracked people over three days. Across the two fully instrumented days, 2,820 people entered and 1,013 engaged for 30 seconds or longer — a 36% Engagement Rate. Attention concentrated hard: the counter earned more visitor time than every other zone combined, and the 10 am to 2 pm window carried 65% of all entries. Two floor-plan changes and one staffing change are recommended below.
| Day | Visitors in view | Entered | Engaged 30s+ | Avg dwell |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | 113 | 22 | 14 | 65 s |
| Day 2 | 1,907 | 1,499 | 578 | 39 s |
| Day 3 | 1,660 | 1,321 | 435 | 31 s |
Day 1 covers setup and a partial afternoon; zones were fully instrumented from day 2.
The counter was your booth’s engine: 2,207 visits and 14.8 hours of accumulated attention at 24 seconds per visit. The lounge held its own at 23 seconds per visit. The seating area underperformed at 11 seconds per visit — people passed through it rather than stopping in it — and the work area recorded only 22 visits all show.

Entries peaked at 11 am (441) and stayed heavy through 2 pm; the 10 am to 2 pm window carried 65% of all booth entries. Day 3 ran 12% below day 2 with dwell down 22% — the standard last-day fade, quantified.
- Shift full staffing coverage to 10 am – 2 pm; schedule breaks, restocks, and off-floor meetings against the measured quiet hours.
- Trade seating footprint for counter frontage in the next floor plan; the counter out-earned the seating area more than 2 to 1 per visit.
- Reclaim or repurpose the work area; 22 visits over three days does not justify display real estate.
- Archive this dataset as your baseline; next show reports year-over-year deltas on every number above.
